by Do you often have trouble remembering where you parked your car? It can be easy to lose track when you’re parked in a crowded lot. But don’t worry, with the right smartphone app you can mark your parking space and find it again quickly.
Google Maps and Apple Maps let you record your car’s location, while several third-party apps can also help you track it. Let’s look at all the options.

Google Maps

You can call on google maps(Opens in a new tab) to help you find your car, although some of the steps are slightly different between iOS and Android. After you’ve parked your car, open Google Maps on your phone and tap the blue pin representing your current location (and parking spot), then tap save parking spaces Entry to add a destination on the map.
Android users can also enter notes with more details about your location and even set a specific number of hours and/or minutes you want to park, which can be helpful if you’ve parked at a parking meter. You can also type share if you want to share your location with someone else or just send it to yourself.

Now when it’s time to return to your parked car, you’ve marked the location on the map. Just tap the pin and select directions And begin for a step-by-step guide to your car.
Apple Maps

Before you can use Apple Maps(Opens in a new tab) In order to find your parking space, you must first make some settings. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services on your iPhone and make sure location services Is on.
On the Location Services screen, scroll down and select system services and then tap Major Locations. You may be asked for your passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID. Then turn on the switch next to it Major Locations. Next go to Settings > Maps and turn it on Show parked location switch.

Now when driving anywhere, you can track the location of your parked car. Your iPhone will do this automatically if you’ve connected it via Bluetooth or CarPlay. When you disconnect from the car, your phone should show a notification saying Maps dropped a pin to show where you parked.
If you don’t see the notification, you’re not using CarPlay, or your phone isn’t connected via Bluetooth, open Apple Maps and look for the blue parked cars pin on the map and tap it. If you don’t see it, type “parked car” in the search box and the car’s location should appear.

Tap the Edit location Button to display an image of your car’s surroundings. You can also create a note with more details and tap add a photo Button to take a picture of your car and location.
If you need to find your car, open Apple Maps and tap parked car Pen. Select Directions and then tap Go to follow directions to your parked car.

With parking space search(Opens in a new tab), Android users can tap the compass icon to zoom in on your current location. Tap the Park here button and tap OK to set your parking space. When it’s time to find your car, just open the app and follow the arrow to find your car.

A no-fuss Android app, Find My Car – GPS Navigation(Opens in a new tab) makes it easy to record your car’s location and find it later. Open the app and tap the park Button. You can then add a note about your location and take a picture of it.
When you’re ready to return to your car, open the app again and tap find my car Button. Just follow the direction of the pointer and the app will guide you to the right place.

The free Find My Car with AR Tracker(Opens in a new tab) The iOS app is quite simple. Tap on the main screen Add new car location License plate icon when you park your car. Tap the Mark location Button. Name the location and select the location type, then tap Safe place Button.
If you need to find your car, open the app and tap Back to location Button. Your car’s location is shown on the map. If you tap the AR icon, you can see your surroundings as you walk.

You can also change the display from a traditional map to an augmented reality map that shows your actual surroundings so you can see what’s nearby as you walk to the car.
