Positional practice continues Saturday at the NFL Scouting Combine when the quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends take to the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Saturday’s practice will feature some prospective first-round draft picks, including Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud, Kentucky quarterback Will Levis and Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson. Young won’t throw at the combine, opting to do so at Pro Day in Alabama on March 23.
A total of nine quarterbacks, 28 wide receivers and 19 tight ends were selected in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Which notable players will take part in Saturday’s practice sessions?
â–º Jordan Addison, WR, USC: After winning the Biletnikoff Award for the nation’s top receiver in 2021, Addison entered the transfer portal and emerged as a first-team All-Pac-12 selection for the Trojans from head coach Lincoln Riley.
â–º Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah: Was the highest threat on a Utes team that went to Rose Bowls back-to-back.
â–º Will Levis, QB, Kentucky: At 6-foot-3, 232 pounds, Levis looks handsome. Despite his athleticism and arm strength, Levi’s collegiate career hasn’t been exactly the best. A strong combine performance could cement Levi’s position at the top of the draft boards.
â–º Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame: Nicknamed “Baby Gronk,” Mayer has been a prolific passing threat for the Fighting Irish (67 receptions for 809 yards and nine touchdowns in 2022).
â–º Luke Musgrave, TE, Oregon: Musgrave is continuing his impressive draft season in Indianapolis after a stellar performance at the Senior Bowl last month.
â–º Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida: Richardson is a double threat quarterback with impressive physical ability. He’s a raw but fascinating pro.
â–º Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State: Enter the scene with a bowl-record 347 yards coming in in the Buckeyes’ 2022 Rose Bowl win.
â–º CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio State: Stroud, who replaced Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears for the Buckeyes, passed Fields on Ohio State’s career passing touchdown list after scoring 41 points, second-best in FBS in 2022.
â–º Darnell Washington TE, Georgia: At 6-foot-7 and 270 pounds, Washington presents a huge target for quarterbacks to hit.
â–º Bryce Young, QB, Alabama: The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner is hoping to transcend the varied NFL existence of previous honorees.
