Colby, tell us what this is about. YES, MECCA IN ADDITION TO THIS WALK, THEY HAD SOME FACE COATINGS FOR KIDS AND MUSIC BUT THE GROUP OF ABOUT 400 WENT ON A TWO MILE HIKE AROUND THE PARK TO TELL THE OKLAHOMANIANS TO HAVE THEIR DAMS CHECKED. NOW THE DOCTORS I HAVE TALKED TO TELL ME IT IS THE SECOND DEADLY CANCER AFTER LUNG CANCER. AND THIS IS YOUR SECOND ANNUAL EVENT, ALREADY GROWING UP FROM LAST YEAR. THEY ARE EXCITED TO BRING MORE OKLAHOMANIANS TO IT. NOW YOUR GOAL IS TO PUSH OKLAHOMA HIGHER THE RANKINGS AND TO MEET THE SCREENING COUNTS FOR THIS CANCER. THEY SAY WE ARE IN THE LAST FIVE AND THE BEST WAY TO CATCH AND PREVENT THIS CANCER IS WITH A COLONOSCOPY. DOCTORS I HAVE TALKED TO ALSO WANT TO KNOW THAT THIS CANCER AFFECTS MEN AND WOMEN AT THE SAME TIME. THAT’S WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT THAT WOMEN NEED TO BE EVALUATED IN ORDER TO REDUCE SYMPTOMS. SO EVERYBODY AGE 45 SHOULD GET A SCREEN AND 45 IS THE NEW 51 OUT OF 25 PEOPLE SUFFER FROM THIS DEADLY CANCER AND UNFORTUNATELY THE RATE FOR COLON CANCER SCREENING IN THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA IS VERY LOW. As a community, I think we’ve all come together to spread awareness and make sure we’re vetted. YOU TELL ME YOU HOPE TO GROW EA MORE AND MORE
