Elder Scrolls Online DLC Scribes of Fate is now available for PC

The Scribes of Fate DLC finally released for PC and Mac players on March 13th. It will be released for consoles later, specifically on March 28th. The main catch of this DLC is that it will be the prologue for the MMO’s next year-long story, The Shadow Over Morrowind.

We’re definitely entering Lovecraftian territory here, as the main antagonist of the arc will be Hermaus Mora. The Daedric Prince of Knowledge has themes and looks that are inherently very sinister. In fact, Shadow Over Morrowind is definitely a reference to HP Lovecraft’s short story Shadow Over Innsmouth.

Elder Scrolls Online is getting two new PVE dungeons in the Scribes of Fate DLC Pack. Both will have unique stories tied to these adventures that will culminate in the larger Necrom storyline in June.

The Scribes of Fate DLC can be purchased separately for 1500 kroner in the Crown Store. Alternatively, a Collector’s Bundle can be purchased for 4000 crowns. This includes new mounts, pets, and even Crown Experience Scrolls. As always, the DLC will be freely accessible to anyone currently subscribed to ESO Plus.

Our first target will be Bal Sunnar, deep within one of the Great House Telvanni settlements. Mysterious magic has begun to gather at Bal Sunnar, and the Psijic Order has tasked players with investigating this unnatural phenomenon.

Because the Scribes of Mora are strongly connected to Hermaeus Mora, they have an even greater connection to the Necrom Order than that of the Telvanni wizards. This way, players will experience the wrath of the new arcanist first hand, as many of the Scribes numbers will utilize the abilities of this class.

Players seeking knowledge and truth will receive unique rewards from Scrivener’s Hall. One such boon is the new light armor set, Runecarver’s Blaze. This DPS set causes your damage over time spells to deal an extra bit of fire damage every few ticks.

In addition to The Scribes of Fate DLC, there is patch 37 of Elder Scrolls Online. As usual, with the arrival of this new update, we’ll be getting loads of balance changes and other minor fixes. One of the bigger additions is the introduction of Screen Narration. This accessibility feature helps players better understand the game’s menus. There will be a choice of two language types in over 6 languages ​​including English, French and Spanish.

Fashion Hunters are also getting a small upgrade in this patch. Starting now, players with Event Tickets can purchase a new cosmetic item called Hide Shoulders from the Impresario Merchant. Essentially, equipping Hide Shoulders reveals an invisible shoulder piece on your character, essentially hiding that part and only showing your chest armor underneath.
